• If a "Not Enough Memory for that Operation" message appers when you try to open or use In/Out, it means that the current application does not leave enough memory free for In/Out to use. Either switch to a different application or open a desk accessory. This will free up the memory needed for In/Out.
• If a dialog box that begins “Preparing to modify System Heap size…” appears while you are running In/Out Install, it means that your current System Heap is not large enough to guarantee smooth operation of In/Out. Click “OK” to expand your System Heap to the size indicated. If you click “Cancel” your System Heap will not be altered.
In/Out Install uses HeapFixer™, which is included on the In/Out disk to modify Sysyem Heap size. For more information on the System Heap, refer to the HeapFixer Read Me file.
For the person setting up the In/Out™ server:
• Do not install In/Out Server on a machine that is running Double Helix II MultiUser. Double Helix II MultiUser is not compatible with the In/Out Server.
• FCB Expansion
In/Out Server automatically increases the number of FCB's (File Control Blocks) from 40 to 80. This allows more files to be open at once.
• If a dialog box that begins “Preparing to modify System Heap size…” appears while you are running IOS Install, it means that your current System Heap is not large enough to guarantee smooth operation of In/Out Server. Click “OK” to expand your System Heap to the size indicated and increase the number of files that can be open simutaneously to 80. If you click “Cancel” your System Heap will not be altered.
